Singapore Youth Festival Celebrations 2014

Michael, together with Bowen Military Band was invited to put up a performance for the closure to the festival held at Gardens by the bay last Saturday.  Call me as predictable as the weather, but I will not give anything in this world to miss this significant milestone of my boy growing up into a fine young man.

Though I couldn't get a good glimpse of Michael on video but each of their small efforts reaps bigger results than I thought, the unity and uniformity in the team proved more than commendable. The unexpected appearance of the ever popular minions were immediately thrust into limelight, though I am not supposed to say this, Michael will be jealous.

I realized I had not taken many pictures at the Garden.  Typically, I've got supertree and Singapore Flyer duplicated too many. Too touristy, no?  But wait. I think the helicopter fly past with our state flag is somewhat post worthy?  Hahaha..give me some credit for fast fingers maybe?

Well, I guess I sort of feel compensated as I had conveniently took some nice photos with the perfect backdrop on the way out of Bayfront station earlier.  Vainpot! *sheepish smiles*

Special thanks to Martin for bringing Owen for a short tour at his family's club room with city view in Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the infinity pool at Skypark while hub and I rested our tired feets over a basket of skinny fries perfected with Mesquite Aioli dip and the most satisfying ice-blended at Coffee Bean.

Thank you for reading.
